AFRS is excited to announce that we will be adding the ability to launch flotation devices from our drones in October of 23.
As the fall weather approaches, the lakes will not be as crowded with boaters who can rapidly lend assistance to water victims.
Having the ability to rapidly deploy flotation devices will increase survival odds while we await a traditional rescue boat.
AFRS will be beta testing this new technology in the areas surrounding Clinton county. This strategic location allows us to respond to Caesars creek, Cowan Lake, and Stonelick regions.
