Disabled Veteran - Lost service dog

Highland County Ohio

AFRS was honored to assist the community of Highland County with finding this little guy.

The owners are husband and wife disabled veterans who visited our region from out of state for an ill loved one.

While they were at the hospital... This little guy got away.

He was gone for about 9 days... And the entire region came together for a common mission of bringing this guy home.

A big shout out to Chuck Wait tires who helped coordinate efforts... as well as the countless community members who invested their time and money.

Highland county demonstrated amazing down home hospitality and compassion for this little guy!

AFRS was honored to provide drone services in the search efforts.

AFRS is a 501c3 public charity that uses certified firefighters to operate high end public safety grade robotics.

We enjoy performing public relations like this for the region. It helps keep our search and rescue skills fresh.

Recurring donations are welcomed... Your generous giving helps keep these services available to the community. Just $5.00 a month makes a difference in the lives of others.
