AFRS.US is excited to announce that a member of our team has been personally invited to assist a leading Ohio university with their efforts on the groundbreaking GoAERO project — a global initiative to develop and deploy unmanned air ambulances.
GoAERO is a worldwide, three-year program dedicated to transforming emergency medical response. With 114 design teams participating globally, the project aims to create fast, safe, and reliable unmanned medical transport solutions that can reach patients where traditional first responders cannot.
A promising collaboration on the horizon
While AFRS.US is not officially named as a partner at this stage, we are incredibly honored that one of our members has been asked to lend their expertise. This invitation reflects the trust placed in our organization’s deep experience in public safety robotics and our commitment to innovation.
Our team’s unique background — including hundreds of flight hours and over 100 certifications from Homeland Security — positions AFRS.US to potentially play a pivotal role as this project evolves. We are proud to represent the spirit of Ohio, the Birthplace of Aviation, in this cutting-edge work.
Why it matters
The vision of GoAERO is to save lives, whether it's transporting a stroke victim stuck in city traffic or rescuing an injured hiker from a remote mountain trail. These life-saving aircraft could change the future of emergency care forever.
Help us move this vision forward
As this collaboration takes shape, we are excited about the opportunities ahead and invite you to join us in supporting this mission. Tax-deductible donations designated for the GoAERO project will be directed to the university, helping them push the boundaries of what's possible in medical transport and public safety.
Thank you for believing in innovation
At AFRS.US, we are deeply grateful for the recognition of our work and sacrifices throughout Ohio. We look forward to seeing how this project develops and to potentially contributing to a future where more lives can be saved — faster and safer than ever before.
