Clinton County, OH — September 2025
One of Our Own
AFRS.US is proud to share the following social media release from The Ohio State University regarding our former Chief, Todd May.
While Todd had to step back from daily fire robotic duties with AFRS due to health challenges, he continues to contribute when able. With extensive background certifications in public safety drone operations, firefighting, EMS, aeromedical drone operations, and over 100 additional certifications through the Department of Homeland Security, Todd brings invaluable experience to the next generation.
We are grateful that, when his health permits, Todd volunteers his time to help mentor students and young professionals. His guidance reflects the spirit of AFRS.US — service, innovation, and a commitment to using technology for the public good.
Why This Matters
By supporting AFRS.US, you are not only assisting firefighters in the operation of emergency robotics — you are helping build lasting partnerships and groundbreaking technology that extend far beyond Ohio.
Developing technology that saves lives isn’t just a local mission… it’s a worldwide human mission.
