Adams County Ohio
AFRS was honored to assist the Adams County Sheriff's department with a matter regarding a missing boy.
During this incident we had a chance to see the benefits of shared emergency drone services and how the ability to dispatch multiple drone pilots to a scene can be extremely beneficial.
The first unit was sent out of the Hillsboro Ohio area with an ETA of 35 minutes, while a secondary unit was sent from the Wilmington Ohio area with an ETA of 60 minutes.
AFRS current coverage area serves over 1/2 million Ohio residents. As we continue to expand our service area, we can easily see how calling in reinforcements from other zones can greatly benefit an emergency scene.
AFRS ability to standardize equipment, procedures, and technology allows us to easily provide services to a wide variety of agencies.
